First Aid Courses

ASPA Training College offers the following courses and Units of Competency from a limited range of Training Packages.  Students may select individual or multiple Units of Competency that will be delivered to meet a specific industry or site need.  

Students who demonstrate competency are issued with a Statement of Attainment for the Units of Competency.   Additionally, students who meet the requirements of either or both of the courses on ASPA's Scope of Training will also be awarded a Course Certificate for these courses.

Students who pass all units of the Basic Emergency Care Course will be issued a Certificate of Qualification.

Courses

21592VIC          Course in First Aid Level 1 - Emergency Response -  4 hours + study;
21593VIC          Course in First Aid Level 2 - Provide First Aid -  20 hours + study; and

LT41002          Certificate IV in Basic Emergency Care - 360 hours + study + industry time.

Units of Competency

The ASPA Advanced Emergency Care Program is NOT a certified course under the Australian Quality Training Framework.  It is made up of a number of 'Units of Competency' and so Certificates of Attainment are issued listing the competencies.

 

The Advanced Emergency Care 'Set of Competencies' has a prerequisite of a Basic First Aid Course (eg St Johns, Red Cross, or other VET accredited course).   As well as the Advanced Emergency Care Program, ASPA Training College offers a number of other units. They are:
