Akja and Cascade Sled Use

Akja and Cascade stretchers are used widely in all Australian Alpine areas.  The picture above shows a Patroller using a T-bar to transport an Akja up a hill.  The attached standard for Akja and Cascade Use is recommended for all Australian conditions.

Training is required by qualified instructors prior to use.
