Vocational Outcomes

As the only industry recognised and authorised training provider for the training of Ski Patrollers, ASPA provides training to support the following roles:

• First Aid Provider
• Advanced Rescuer (Alpine)
• Ski Patroller (Level 1 – Advanced Emergency Care)
• Master Ski Patroller
• Alpine Safety Manager (Ski Patrol Director)
• Ski Patroller (Level 2 – Risk and People Management)

In the case of training Alpine Safety Workers and advanced first-aid providers, the teaching and assessing of competencies is important to ensure effective, efficient and competent learning by students. ASPA therefore conducts training in the Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment to satisfy the vocational outcomes in the chart below of:

• Vice President Education
• ASPA VET Coordinator
• ASPA Examiner
• Assistant Instructor
• Instructor, and
• Course Director.
